Welcome to the QEH 1965 website. This site is for everybody who started at Queen Elizabeth’s Hospital, Bristol, in 1965, and those who joined us in later years.
QEH was founded in 1586 by John Carr. Little happened until the 6th of September 1965 when sixty-two young boys passed through the school gates for the first time, to spend between five and seven years there. They are the “65ers”…
September 2015 will be the 50th anniversary of our first day at the school, and the aim of this site is to help us organise a reunion during that month.
Please complete the Registration Form if you are a 65er or were a member of staff at QEH between 1965 and 1972. This will allow you to post and comment on this website, and allow us to contact you directly with news and updates about the reunion. It will also make it easier for us to round up everyone for the reunion.
Comments and corrections are welcome below and via the Contact Form.
By the way, this is all Dibb’s and Tarsey’s fault. Dibb organised a get-together in June 2013 and Tarsey suggested holding a 50th Anniversary Reunion. So blame them, not me. I’m just the IT geek.
