The Headmaster has kindly given his permission for us to visit QEH on Saturday 12 September, 50 years after our first visit!
If you have any suggestions for the day, perhaps we could use the Forums as a discussion medium. We could use the thread 12 September 2015 Looking Good for suggestions, and 12 September – Attending? to track numbers.
The School has agreed in principle to a tour of the school on the afternoon of 12 Sep. There are, of course, no boarders nowadays, so the school is normally closed at weekends. It’s very kind of them to even consider us.
The proposal for the day is:
1200: Narrow Boat Cruise on the Avon – lunch
1600: Tour of the school – afternoon tea?
1900: Dinner in local restaurant
The list of “65ers” that we know about is on the Roll Call page. (You need to be registered and logged-in to see this page.) To register, please go to the Registration page.
Here’s hoping we get a big turn-out in September!
From the school:
We really hope you can attend the 425 Cambridge Dinner.

QEH Old Boys’ Dinner 2014
The QEH Old Boys’ Society Dinner will be held this year on 8 November. For more details see qehobs.org/events
Just received the sad news from Debbie White at the school that Ron Tandy, Head of PE at QEH (1949 – 1988), died this morning.
An update to WordPress has broken our forums. They’ll be offline for a while until I work our a fix – sorry!
I’m continuing to tweak the site. There’s a new Members’ News Forum, where you can let people know your personal news and there’s a Gallery widget on the right which shows four random image from the Photo Gallery.
Our latest registrations are from John H, Martin de L and Simon H – hope to catch up soon!
The Roll Call page is now live.
I have only listed email addresses and phones numbers for registered members, in fact the whole page should be invisible to non-members.
Please let me know if you can fill in any of the “unknowns”.
I’ve just realised that comments weren’t working, having tried to comment on one of my own posts!
One of the anti-spam filters that I installed was preventing comments from being posted. Apologies if any of you have tried, and failed, to comment – please try again!
